Authorities said that a 7-year-old child who was discovered at the bottom of a pool that had been rented for a family party died on Sunday night in Bergen County. According to township police Chief Glenn M. O'Reilly, officers were called to a residence on Westervelt Place in Teaneck at around 6 o'clock for a complaint of a missing kid. The young girl "was found at the bottom of an indoor swimming pool. She was taken to Holy Name Medical Center and CPR started, according to O'Reilly. According to the chief, the girl was pronounced dead at the hospital at 7:22 p.m.
