Bear a service dog ran for 30 city
blocks then swam across the Hudson
- A New York City service dog named Bear jumped into the Hudson River and swam to New Jersey.
- Bear's owner, Ellen Wolpin, says the dog ran off after being spooked.
- Woplin received Bear last week as a service dog for her special needs son who suffers from seizures.
- After being missing for two days, someone heard the dog barking near a pier in Edgewater, New Jersey, and called fire rescue.
- Bear is now reunited with his owner.
