The Toms River Fire Company No.1 is pleased to announce that the Toms River, NJ Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday, October 30th, 2021," according to TomsRiver.org.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Toms River Halloween Parade, which began in 1937 as a local municipal Halloween celebration, is now the world's second largest.
People gather from all around Ocean County to see the floats, marching bands, groups, families, and children dressed up in their costumes.

The return of the Toms River Halloween Parade has everyone delighted. The parade has only been stopped three times in the history of the fire department. The first instance occurred in the 1920s, during the Great Depression. Superstorm Sandy caused the second time. The coronavirus was the third.
