Mystery Man Pours Cash on Shoppers in a New Jersey Mall

Man Tosses Money at Freehold Mall

Freehold Raceway Mall

A unknown man shocked Mother's Day customers at the Freehold Raceway Mall on Sunday by dropping wads of money from a balcony to visitors below.

To the surprise of bystanders, the man screamed "Happy Mother's Day," then waved and walked away after emptying his WaWa bag with cash.

According to a mall shopper, some people thought it was confetti, and then they looked closer and realized it was money.

The man exclaimed "Happy Mother's Day" to passersby as he tossed money. The man waved and walked away after giving away all of the cash in his bag.

After that, he simply left.

According to mall employees, the man does this a couple times a year over the holidays.
