NJ State Police is Seeking Public’s Assistance with Fatal Crash Investigation

State Police Seeking Assistance

The New Jersey State Police are requesting the public's help in investigating a fatal motor vehicle incident that happened on the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County on November 6.

According to the preliminary investigation, a 2009 Jeep Liberty and a 2000 Chevrolet Impala were going northbound on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge Township at approximately 3:00 p.m. The two vehicles crashed near milepost 131.9, and the Jeep toppled.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Jeep, Melissa M. Craden, 51, of Scotch Plains, N.J., was ejected and sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries.
