Police are looking for a convicted sex offender who may be camping in state woods in New Jersey

ATTENTION: visitors to Wharton State Forest,
Bass River State Forest, and Batona Trail Hikers.

Authorities are looking for a 34-year-old convicted sex offender and may be camping in or near New Jersey state forests in Atlantic and Burlington counties, according to officials.
According to State Park Police, Theodore Blackson, who was freed from a state jail last month, is now sought for breaking his parole restrictions.

He is wanted by law enforcement and known to frequent these areas. Blackson often camps in wooded areas along the Batona Trail. He is a 5’11” tall light-skinned black male. He usually wears a green camo jacket. In the past he has been seen pan handling in this area as well.
