State Police Seeking Public’s Assistance with Identifying Human Remains

The New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Transit Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the body of a woman that was fatally struck by a train in Monmouth County in 2008. On June 15, 2008, the victim was struck by a New Jersey Transit train at the Fisk Avenue Crossing in Brielle, N.J. The victim was described as a white female, approximately 18-30 years old, 5’4” tall, approximately 123 lbs with hazel eyes and brown hair. Below is a facial reconstruction sketch created by a detective from the New Jersey State Police Forensic Imaging Unit. A Cherry Hill, New Jersey man and his roommate's puppy are recovering after being attacked by a neighborhood dog last Wednesday. The injured dog's name is Cheddar. The 4-month-old puppy's front right leg is shattered and he has several puncture wounds throughout his body.

Bodies of 2 drowning Victims Recovered from New Jersey lake

Authorities in New Jersey have recovered the bodies of two swimmers who drowned at Mine Hill Beach on Sunset Lake in Morris County. The victims, a 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man, were last seen just after 5 p.m. Tuesday, when they went into the water and didn't come out. Witnesses told police they saw the pair enter from sand pits on the west side of the lake.
