Three Staten Island Teens Killed
According to reports from several media agencies, a New Jersey man was charged with operating a vehicle while his license was suspended in an incident that claimed the lives of three teenagers on Staten Island on Sunday.
A Ford Mustang carrying three teenagers between the ages of 15 and 16 was going at a "unsafe pace" when it collided with Maher Asi-2017 Mahmoud's GMC Yukon between Hylan Boulevard and Richard Avenue at at 8:50 p.m.
According to the media, Asi-Mahmoud was charged with aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on August 18.

New York Post.According to the investigation, the Mustang hit a tree, severing it in two, ejecting two 15-year-old passengers. The vehicle's front part kept traveling east on Hylan Boulevard, climbed a sidewalk, and toppled a small tree before coming to a halt next to a power pole.
The 16-year-old Mustang driver only had a permit, which permits a user to operate a car only when an adult is present. Following the crash, he was reported to be in critical but stable condition.
JesieGil, 15, was declared dead at the scene, while Fernanda Gil, 16, passed away at Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. Also declared deceased at the scene was Ashley Rodriguez, 15, of Great Hill.
