Obituary Kathy Suchodolski (James), 58, died on January 28, 2022 in Toms River, New Jersey.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and grew up in Palmyra, NJ, before relocating to Toms River 20 years ago. She also resided in Cinnaminson, NJ, and Tucson, AZ.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in Camden and went on to work for the Harleysville Insurance Company, the Toms River Board of Education as a paraprofessional, the Monmouth County Health Department in Field Education, and most recently the NJ Department of Health in Trenton as a Public Health Representative.

Kathy is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Anne of Philadelphia and Alyson Marie of Shoreline, Washington, as well as her beloved husband Bill.

Her brother William was predeceased, but she is survived by her brother Luke (wife Ruth) and five sisters: Carol Dickinson (Wayne), Jeannie Warren, Nancy Stannard (Bob), Susan Thress (Wayne), and Diane Gonshor (Joe); sister in-laws Theodora Harkins, Peter and Connie Suchodolski, and Matthew Suchodolski; and over twenty nieces and nephews. Kathy adored her daughters and enjoyed watching them blossom into the compassionate, self-reliant, and successful ladies they are today.

Kathy didn't want to be the focus of attention and was humble, gentle, and caring, yet her sense of humor could (without trying) steal the show.

There will be a Memorial Gathering for Kathy on Saturday February 5, 2022 from 1 to 3pm with a 2pm Service at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals located at 145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ.
Condolences may be sent to www.ryanfuneralhome.com.

As an expression of sympathy, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library where she loved to take her daughters to read, in the name of Kathy, 101 Washington St, Toms River, NJ 08753 using the Ocean County Library Memorial Donation form found at The Ocean County Library.
