Fundraiser For Melissa and Matt Rebuilding After Fire Destroys Barnegat New Jersey Home on July 23, 2022. Melissa and Matt received the one phone call nobody ever wants, their forever home was on the fire. Upon them both racing to get there they both saw what would be every persons nightmare, their entire contents of their home gone, and their cat Bonnie nowhere to be found.
Lieutenant Craig James of Waretown lost his wife Denise and three year old daughter Lilyanne in a three-vehicle collision that took place on a rural road in Freehold Township on July 14, 2022.
Denise was born in Neptune, NJ and lived in Brick before moving to Waretown in 2004. She was a Charge Nurse for Rose Garden Nursing Home in Toms River, NJ and a communicant of St. Pius X Church, Waretown.
Her daughter Lilyanne passed away on July 17, 2022.
Lieutenant Charlee-Jo Steet, Tuckerton Station Commander, welcomed Conchita Pedraza-Garcia, her mother and sister to the station. Lieutenant Steet and the Tuckerton troopers recognized Conchita for her quick actions during a medical assist recently.
On June 18, Conchita was at a family gathering within Tuckerton’s station area when she observed a 9-year-old boy drowning in a pool.
Nikki, was in a serious accident at just 20 years of age. She was visiting her family home when this devastating accident occurred. While enjoying a ride on an ATV, it flipped and caught on fire. She acquired 2nd-3rd degree burns to 25% of her body. She was transferred to the burn unit via helicopter.
