Branchburg Police Charge Jerry Otero for Breaking Umpire’s Jaw

BRANCHBURG POLICE CHARGE NEW YORK MAN FOR ASSAULT ON UMPIRE BRANCHBURG TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart and Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor announced the arrest of Jerry Otero, age 40, Staten Island, New York, for punching an umpire during a 13U little league baseball game in Branchburg Township, New Jersey.

72-year-old Umpire attacked by Parent Coach left with a Broken Jaw

An Umpire was seriously injured in an attack during a youth baseball game in Branchburg New Jersey. A Staten Island parent coach allegedly hit the Umpire so hard, he was left with broken jaw. The incident happened to the 72-year old umpire on Saturday, June 4th.

Jackson Fire Department got a call for a possible structure fire, it was quickly upgraded to a working garage fire "Fully Involved". First due engine was 5411 and they pulled a 2.5 and attacked the main body of fire with tank water while they worked on a water supply. The fire burned for about 30-45 mins with heavy fire.
