BRANCHBURG POLICE CHARGE NEW YORK MAN
FOR ASSAULT ON UMPIRE
BRANCHBURG TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart and Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor announced the arrest of Jerry Otero, age 40, Staten Island, New York, for punching an umpire during a 13U little league baseball game in Branchburg Township, New Jersey.
A man plows into several poles on ROUTE 9. The crash is making quite a mess for the evening commute and for residents without power in the area. The driver clipped six utility poles before coming to a stop.

According to the authorities, Nicholas C. Winter, 35, has been accused of leaving a domestic animal and committing third-degree animal cruelty that results in death.
A double shooting involving a Bronx rapper happened in Edgewater, New Jersey. The shooting occurred at a busy shopping plaza, a little after midnight along River road. Police say they had a report of a man getting shot. The man was later identified as rapper Lil TJay, and a half mile down the road, they found another victim at a gas station.
