We are placing a sincere request to help the family of Sriram, who recently lost his life to a sudden cardiac arrest. At only 32 years, he is survived by his wife (Saivani Survepalli) and two-year-old daughter, and this is not what the family was prepared for soon after their short visit home.

New Jersey Superior Court’s Appellate Division lifted a temporary stay on the state’s black bear hunt. Shortly after, the state Fish and Game Council announced that the hunting season would begin the same day when check stations open at 4 p.m.

Large Whale washes ashore on New Jersey Beach

A 30ft juvenile humpback whale washed ashore in Strathmere around 7 this morning. A marine mammal expert tells me it’s unclear how the whale died, so they’re advising the public to stay away. The whale will likely be buried tomorrow or Monday.
