New Jersey is the only state in the U.S. that doesn’t allow customers to pump their own gas — anywhere. There’s always an attendant on duty to pump gas for customers at these full-service stations. Oregon is the only other state besides New Jersey with a full-service law. However, Oregon’s laws are far less strict and allow certain parts of the state to have self-service gas stations.

Hello, my name is Eleni Papadopoulos, and I'm 1 of 100 women selected to compete for Miss New Jersey 2023. I chose to participate and compete for the title of Miss New Jersey to represent females in science and medicine as well as first-generation students across our lovely state of New Jersey.
For those who don't know me, my name is Denisha Canady, and I will be participating in Miss New Jersey 2023. This will be my second time running in this life-changing pageant. During my previous experience, I had the time of my life competing and meeting my fellow competitors; it was honestly like a movie. Not only did this competition help me gain new connections for my modeling career, but I also gained healthy confidence and was FORCED to break out of my shell.
